Flowerbeds: instant colour!

Here, Bruce shows Helen how to revive a flagging flowerbed by removing old plants and replacing them with new ones he has started in his greenhouse. We also talk about a special pest issue around marigolds and how to deal with it.
Sorry about the noise on parts of this video — it’s the wind blowing into the camera microphone, which we didn’t realize was happening.

    While that Scottish wind may remind us of last weekend’s British Open - Bruce’s time-honoured trick of using well established pots and new flowering annuals to refresh an area of the garden - is one gardeners can use no matter where they garden.
